Drag Results for Masterton Import Shootout

Didnt do to bad today, got to hit the sack and get up to head out and race again tommorrow.

Best Time of the Day

2.34 60 foot <best 60 foot
14.31 1/4 mile at 97 mph ( ran several 14.4's)

very tough track to race, maybe the track that is to tough to tame.

will put up a few videos in a few days

as for as import shootout the chariot finished 3rd out of 16-20 cars.

They have some fast Mazda Rx2's in this class and some of the civics with the integra type r engine are very impressive.

Traction problems Ceasar? Well your season's just starting right? You'll get lots more chances in. 3rd place ain't too shabby either.

yeah what is a rx2 ? I still have no idea ? Just got back today and beat my best time yesterday, the .400 tree is taking time to get used to.

Yes, 60 foots are exactly the problem, I had a 2.5 60 foot on saturday and that is crazy ? But the car is still dead on , from where I left off about a year ago.

Back home I run 2.1's 50% of the time.

14.1 with 2.1 60 foot <-- my best time ever
14.2 with a high 2.2 60 foot <--- best time in NZ so far, lol !

In all motor class its filled with Honda Civic's of all sorts (with engine swaps), and CRX's, Civic Type R, but few Nissans. Then old school Mazda RX2's. The Maxima is a huge car in comparision.

Mazda RX-2s are precursors to other cars in the RX series including the RX-7. Old, light, RWD. In the states, it's almost ALWAYS latinos/puerto ricans driving them. They, along with the other NA rotary cars that they drive at the track (starlets, RX3s, 1st gen RX7s, etc) are the most annoying thing you can imagine. I hate them more than the ricers in 17 second civics with big body kits and junk like that.
