Well i went to go change my oil today and i found some oil dripping down onto the bottom of the transmission as seen in these pics. http://photobucket.com/albums/v374/DcMaN341/Leak/

Anyway i did some investigating and i noticed some type of golden ring on the axle was popped out so i popped it back in and "Hopefully" thats what was causing the leak. If anyone can help me determine the oil leak i would be truly grateful thanks.

 

it seems to be the axle seal letting gear oil out of the tranny. you may need a new gasket.

 

ahh the infamous golden ring fix.... That little dirt cap (golden ring) on the end of the axle is so dirt doesn't get into the seal. It doesn't hold back anything else. You'll probably need new axle seals.

 

so how hard is it to replace the axle seals ?

 

not very hard. Follow instructions to remove the axle. There's a rubber seal inside the transmission when you remove the axle- right where the axles goes in. Replace that.
