So...signal wire #3 in coil pack #2

In each coil pack...there are 3 prongs

1 = signal
1 = power
1 = ground

Correct?

Dixit and I found out that in cylinder 2....the signal wire shows constant voltage with and without the key turned on...making it NOT spark, making it not start.

I changed my ground again...but Im going to add another one to the chassis....but, Im lost now....how can it show constant voltage?

This damn car

Your car WILL start and run if only 1 cylinder is not firing. That's not your problem. Check both crank sensors.

Do you have fuel? Are the plugs soaked in fuel after a few start attempts?

The car will start with even 2 or 3 dead cylinders. So he's defintely got another issue.

Bijan, are you getting any intake backfires when you try to crank the car? Is your TPS adjustment within spec?

Have you replaced the cam position sensor? It sounds like your timing is out of whack. Your next assignment is to remove the plugs, ground them to the heads, and crank. Let us know if the spark is rhythmic, and not just random. If you've already tried this, i'd check the fuel pressure to make sure a few injectors aren't leaking fuel past the o-rings.

BTW, i was serious about that intake backfire thing.

I know, you were serious....it's funny cuz there's no other way to explain it. So we say intake backfire.

Um, yea cam. pos. sensor was changed too......

But Im not getting spark when I ground the plugs to the block.....but not 100% sure it's not fuel related.

Hmmm...no spark huh? Now we're getting somewhere. Which cylinders exactly aren't getting any spark? Or is it universal?

I only tried cyl. #2 --- far right coil on the front valve cover if you have the hood popped and looking straight at it.

But It's probably universal....I tied the car to my dads truck, pulled it up a hill and tried to pop the clutch to start it....no go. So Im assuming its on all 6 coils...

That would cylinder number 6.lol Anyway, is the CPS (POS) lined up perfectly with the timing ring on the flywheel?? This is retarded. There aren't that many things that could prevent a car from starting. Just to put my mind at ease could you pull the plugs from the remaining 5 cylinders and check for a rhythmic spark?

Well before I do that...here's a previous thread
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=432157

and there's another link on post #16

It seems like it USED to be the FW or timing gear....but now after sitting for a day it's like this. After (like literally...that day and the day after) my wreck...it was acting the same way as the 1st link^^^

I let it sit for a day....and this.
