Exhuast questions

OK I'm looking at buying some parts for a new exhuast. First wondering whats the best Y-pipe? Also wondering whats the difference between a new cat converter or a straight pipe? Which is better? And lastly wondering what everyone's got for catback axhuast. Thanks alot.

Check the stickies - you'll find all kinds of useful information, reviews, prices, retailers, etc. there.

No, you don't have any exhaust questions.
You will search, and read stickies, and go to maxmods.dyndns.org.
You will never post exhaust questions again.
Just messin with ya....
but do check out that website, all the information you really need...

Stillen equal length... GL finding one now.

Also wondering whats the difference between a new cat converter or a straight pipe?
Cat convertor is just that...Straight pipe is just that... nothing in it but a straight through design.... Cat is better.

And lastly wondering what everyone's got for catback axhuast.
Custom, but if I had to do it again, I'd leave it stock and only have an aftermarket y-pipe only for exhaust mods.

Now go read the stickys because there are literally thousands of opinions different from mine.

With the straight pipe, you will not pass emissions...so don't get it. You are better off with a Random Technology cat.

Yeah I know where to buy the parts and I've done research, that wasnt what I wanted to know. I was asking about personal thoughts. If you have a y-pipe, which one? and is it good? Same with the catback. What are the personal preferences?
