I like my car to smell like roses

No - what about those fancy freshers in the group deals section?

I wouldn't consider any air freshener fun, and also... to each his own. Some people might not like the new car smell. This is a very opinionated, and at the same time irrelevant thread. But go on.

Check your local Autozone. They should carry the Pine Tree that has the new car scent.

A good seats out detail cleaning and carpet extracting should make it smell like new again.
Air fresheners only cover up odors.

Yeah it's not really odors I have a problem with. My carpets and seats have been recently cleaned - the car just smells like nothing. I want it to smell fresh.

Procure a steam cleaner (a real steam cleaner).
Go over every inch of the seats and and the carpet with the steam cleaner and wipe them down with a towel as you go.
Armour-all all the vinyl and spay febreeze all over the carpet and seats (the unscented original stuff) Car smelled much better than when I got it after doing that
I also have thought about buying a large pool float and leaving that in the car for a few days in the hot sun... get back some of that fresh vinyl smell that makes up alot of the new car smell

Get the one from Griots. It doesn't smell like the original Nissan scent, but everyone else will think it smells new. You shouldn't be disappointed.
