The ABS computer is seperate from the ECU Screwing around in someone elses car = The info you need is all here on the forums, you just have to search

BTW, this has been posted at least 3-4 times in the last 2 weeks alone.

I just did the poor mans search and found that I have a high chance of being . Ohh man , Im so screwed. But is ther any other alternative other than replacing the abs sensor, or cleaning it ? Like a quick fix or check or something that just might work ?

No, and how would I proceed to do this anyway?

Buy a Haynes manual and read it.

That's for the 3rd gens, not us.

Give me a second, I'll pull the info from my Haynes.

Drive the Max above 20 MPH for a few minutes, stop and turn off the engine.

Ground the 'L' terminal on the Consult connector , behind the fuse panel cover to the lower right of the steering column.

Turn the ignition to on, and it'll start flashing the ABS trouble code.

It'll flash once, pause, and twice again (code 12) to indicate it's starting code playback.

Then interpret the codes just as when pulling a CEL, except there are no long/short flashes, they're all the same length.

Post the code you get back up here, too many to type out.
