99 auto kicking in drive

99 auto kicking in drive

20 mins ago im in the wendys drive thru n im waitin for my change and i feel the car kicking and while its kicking my rpm goes from 650-about 750..up n down..i tried putting it in neutral to see if it would happen but it didnt..can i be misfiring or something.??

the car is a 99 auto loaded..cali spec

Yes it sounds like its misfiring. Since 99's are known for bad coil packs, I would check those out first. Also when is the last time you had a tuneup.

just replace your coil packs with some used ones

99 coils are complete garbage

Definitely replace your coilpacks. I had the same exact symptoms, all the way down to the "kick only when in drive". 6 coils later, they're gone. I have a Calispec 99 BTW.
