Air Bag question

If the air bag light has been disconnected, or ripped out, but all the air bags are there and plugged in, including the side ones, will the air bags still work if an accident happens?

But was the light disconnected or ripped out because it was on? Then there's obviously problem with your airbag system and just by yanking the lights out wouldn't solve the airbag problem... you have a high chance of airbags not working.

Well, the light was flashing but it was the one in passenger seat, thats what the diagnostic said, the dealer told me there were gonna fix it, but I can see that all they did was rip out the light or dissconnect it. I hope they will work

WTF kinda dealer is that? If they really took the lights out to solve the problem, take it back or better yet, get yourself a lawyer.
