Chariot vs V8's and more: 1/8th mile drag videos !

Spent the day yesterday racing at a 1/8th mile drag racing event. First time for me to race the 1/8th and wow it sure goes by much faster than the 1/4 mile, but still lots of fun. The final race against a honda integra was the most fun of the day. it was the loser return bracket finals.

Got a video of about 5 races.
Size approx 20mb (if your 56k it will take awhile to download.)

true, if i would have been running with my interior out also i would have squeaked that one out i think. again he had a bad run, that integra runs 13.3 in the 1/4 mile, so i was lucky it was close as it was

Hey Ceasar, http://videos.streetfire.net/Player....t%20Maxima&p=0 That's Matt's Maxima right? He has to have stripped his stuff down and sprayed some juice in to do a 1/4 in 11.4 sec. @ 123mph

Why would he need a VB? Ceasar has a manual. But VI for sure, he already has the TS ECU.

Great races, that Integra was a worthy opponent. I can't help but wonder what is the seal level out there in NZ. Seems like those carbeurated engines are struggling. They did sound badass though.

BTW, with all the tranny problems a lot of the orgers are experiencing with their cars lately, how's your tranny holding up with so many racing miles logged in by your car? I know yours is a 5 speed but I was just curious how its holding up with all the beating you give it racing and all.

seems to be just fine ! in this race im guess we are 10-15 feet above sea level ? if you notice at the start of the video the water on your right, you can jump in a boat and head out into the pacific !

How are people responding to your maxima out there. There must not be too many U.S. spec maximas out there. Keep up the good work.

some sort of mitsubishi chariot so that was a battle of the chariots, lol ! its turbo powered and he has some sort of launch control device, where it sticks at 2,000 rpms and just jets off. another race i should have lost, think he missed a gear. but hey what is it with all the sleeper vehicles here ? the maxima is pretty sleeper but a family van that runs high 13's ? got to love it !

not sure on awd ?

00VI looks like it will be my next mod, i havent had a performance mod in over a year, I hope this swap will net me at least a 13.9 , i have been after 13's for a long time. if i do hit 13.99999 i will post up the video and we can all have a mug of beer !
