The 98-99 are digital... 97 is analog.

fanaticrockford just answered you.

You have to get the connectors for the gauges as well, then do a bit of wire splicing.

Search, this has been covered at least 3 times in the past two weeks, and there's a thread or two showing how to do so I believe.

i couldnt start a new thread so i figured i ask my question in this topic, i have a 98 SE, i lightly sanded the orange off my needles to make em clear. It was a success but however, my fuel gauge is off half a tank and my speed odometer is of by 10mph( i drove by one of them cop things they have on the side of the road to check ur speed) so i think it might of been from my friend tryin to pull the needle off, i didnt realize he was tryin to do that, i wanted to kno is there anyway to make em go back to normal or can a dealer reset my gauges ???

Yeah, put them back to normal by yourself. Did you guys know what you were doing when you were playing around with your gauge needles? You should have made marks of where they were originally.

[QUOTE=Provoked Maximamy fuel gauge is off half a tank[/QUOTE]

This happened to me when I replaced the lights on my cluster to LEDs - when you fill up your tank it should reset itself. Not sure how to help you concerning the speedo needle, though... Try pressing it in and making sure it's snug?
