Indiglow gauges or LEDs?

I currently have indiglo gauges from the previous owner of my Max, but they are about to die (they turn off intermittently). My question is: should I get another set of Indiglo gauges, or should I switch to LEDs? What is everyone's opinion?

If I got another set of indiglos, I think i would get these:

because they are not too flashy and the most like my current ones.

Oh, alternatively, if anyone knows how to fix indiglo gauges that turn off intermittently, please guide me (this would solve all my problems). Please let me know, thanks!

Shawn

I just want something other than stock on there... I want either indiglow gauges, all hyper-white LEDs, or all blue LEDs

I replaced the bulbs in the back of my cluster to all white 10,000MCD LEDs, however, because of the "filter" on the guages themselves, the light will automatically turn blue-ish white. Not sure if anyone has found a way around this or not, but it doesn't bother me. The blue looks pretty nice..

do you have any pics? where did you get the LEDs from?

also, to everyone, will LEDs be brighter, or will indiglow gauges?

I would go with LED's over the Indiglows, as long as you can get around the hotspots. I want to do that to my car eventually.

Yes, I have some pics. I will post them on this thread later tonight for you. For now, can you see the bright blue/white spot on the cluster in my sig?

has anyone ever tried a 'fade' effect? since there are 5 bulbs, would it look good alternating blue and white? I would make it so the left sides of both big gauges would be white, and they would fade to blue on the right. The 2 smaller gauges would be blue.

Is this a good idea, or will it turn out corny?

I experimented with this...used blue and white...very cheesy and makes it look like a ricer civic
