0101 & 0403: need advice

For the past couple of days my car had problems starting on the first crank but it occured infrequently. Today, it would not start at all and after about 4-5 cranks the engine finally turned over. The CEL came on with the 0101- Camshaft Position Sensor and 0403 - Throttle Position Sensor codes. I checked the voltage and it read 14.0v.

I've looked over the stickies but still don't understand what the problem is. Can anyone provide some advice?

0101 - time to replace the sensor - its located in the timing chain cover - right near the belt tensioner - held on with a single 10mm bolt

0403 - TPS - not sure if the sensor is bad - but it shouldn't read 14V ...where did you measure that voltage?

do you have a Haynes? if not, it's a good time to get one.

I have a Beltronics Vector 985 radar detector which has V-Meter feature (shows continous readout of vehicle's battery voltage).

I don't have a Haynes but I do have FSM in .pdf format.

The FSM should give you everything you need. Use it to pull up the diagnosis pages for the Camshaft sensor and the TPS. you need to measure the voltage or resistance of the TPS to check it. I don't remember the camshaft sensor diagnosis/check off the top of my head.
