quick question on headlight

I know this has been covered but the question I have is i have had nokya's in my sockets for about 6 months and now the harness is melting. I know the bulbs are higher wattage than required so i went and bought a harness and its a 9004/9007 harness. The question i have is on the stock wiring there are different color wires on the harness i got the colors are all black, if i was to splice them into eachother would this cause a problem? How would i know wich wire to splice together if there all black on the new harness? Thanks in advance.

Do one individual wire at a time. Put it in the same place on the new harness as you took it off the old one. Repeat 5 more times. Then get normal wattage bulbs so you don't blind other drivers who may end up suffering from road rage and shooting you, or worse, possibly wreck and kill their kid who's riding with them.

And stay away from the "super-blues", "super whites", and other marketing gimmicks that actually put out less light for you to drive safely by (see here: http://danielsternlighting.com/tech/...uperwhite.html ). And this while blinding other drivers because of the human eyes' response to blue light (see here: http://danielsternlighting.com/tech/...ght_color.html ).
