I have a 95 maxima thts hail damaged. I was thinking on fixing it, if i did, i would have to buy a cf hood(i wanna cf hood), driver side fender, fix da 2 driver side doors and the roof and paint it too!! or should i sell it and buy a 97-99 max 5-spd or 02-03 max 6-spd?? let me know what u all think i should do. ill try to get some pics out my car soon.

 

You may have more in it than it is worth. But, if you have plenty of money, get what you want.

 

Well, if you are getting insurance money for it, I say repair it and get some upgrades like the CF hood.

If you arent getting money for it, junkyard dive and pickup some good-condition fenders, etc. Although you will likely spend a lot getting these painted.

If the insurance company writes it off (i.e., total the car) go for the 02-03 6-speed.

 

It depends on your fincail situation. Get whatever you can afford.

get some gasoline and put that **** on flames not worth it.....get a new one.

my hood has hail damage also..didnt notice it till after i bought the car, although barely visible, it still bothers the hell outta me. the roof and rear of the car doesnt seem to be bothered.

 

How severe (or small) is the hail damage, being you didn't even see it until after you baught it. Have a Paintless Dent Removal service look at it and quote you. It's much cheaper then paint work and usually comes out perfect.

 

my is the hood, driver side doors ,and my roof!!! it bothers me too!! i wish my max was only hail damage in the hood. seriously

 

Just Use It As A Car To Run Around In, If Not, Then Just Sell It For As Much As You Can Get. Thats My Take On It.

 

Thats what i was thinking on doing, just till i can saved up for a 2k2 or 2k3.

 

now tht i have a job im not gonna fix it! i wanna get a 5.5 max but since im only 18, insurance is expensive as hell!! but thts a small price to pay for a 5.5 gen max!!
