Would a vacuum leak always mess up idle?
Would a vacuum leak always mess up idle?
One of the bolts that holds my upper manifold on broke off the other day when I was gorilla glue-ing my butterfly valves. I'm missing a bolt on the back of my manifold as well.
I'm just wondering how I could tell if I had a vacuum leak or not?

I lost two of the ones in back, those just keep the manifold planted to the engine I believe. I hate those bolts anyway
And which bolt broke off? You probably don't have a leak, but its something that should be replaced. And idle won't necessarily mess up at idle, but during acceleration you would notice it.
