Do not purchase from Nupe500

I posted a request for interior door panel. He pm'd me with an offer to sell.
I paid $100 and received 4 panels with glue all over the cloth and rips and tears in all but one panel.
Here's how he responded when I asked for a refund:
"I did recieve your email, and as I said, I did not see that rip in the panel prior to shipping or even in the pictures I took. I can not return the money for the panels nor take the panels back. In reviewing the thread you posted on maxima.org, it does not say that you are looking for perfect panels, rather that you are looking for gray panels."

Are you kidding? I guess I forgot to ask about tears, rips and glue.
Shame on me....
And shame on you if you ever send him $$.

Well, he's an a'sshole to begin with. This one time I bought a dozen twinkies from him, and when they got to my house, the filling was missing from three of them. Half a year later and I am still waiting for his fata'ss to give me a refund!

that is a pretty pathetic way to do business. the condition should have been disclosed no matter the dollar amount. sounds like someone is hard up for money and willing to do whatever they can to get it.

Seems I just found this thread...

Before anyone goes around and posts how bad I am to deal with. FInd the thread in which I posted the pictures of the panels and informed that the panels would need to be cleaned or so. I bought the panels with the intention of using them for a project and never took them out of the box. The buyer was OK with the pictures that I sent, and only complained after seeing the amount of work that needed to be done to the panels.

Here is the thread: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=439637

Now read and make your own judgements. Again, they were used panels, what do you expect?

That thread supported his product with pictures and even mentioned it had to be cleaned up.

It is the responsibility of the buyer to receive the photos and make a judgement call on whether they do or do not accept the panels.

I could understand if no photos were taken and it was all "word-of-mouth" descriptions, but that wasn't the case. You had a chance to ask for more photos or even larger photos.

This thread is invalid.
