Instrument Panel Removal

Can someone point me to a how-to for getting the instrument panel off please? If it is just a matter of several screws, can you mark them in a picture? Thanks.

Its not hard.
You will have to remove the under side cover of the steering column and remove the trim pieces around the cluster. Once you have all the trim pieces removed, you will see the screws that are holding the cluster in piece. There are three, one on top, and two on bottom towards the corners.
When you remove the cluster the unplug the harness behind it so that you can completly remove the cluster.
Just start unscrewing the items and you will start to figure out what all needs to be removed.

One note of advice. The cluster trim piece is held in there buy some clips. I found the ones along the bottom to be rather tough to unclip. Just be careful where you apply force and watch the top as you are pulling out so it doesnt get scratched up.

In the manual for my '99 it says you have to remove the knee panel below the steering column first before you can remove the steering column covers. I had a ***** of a time taking out the instrument panel trim peice, even with moving the tilt column around it was extremely tight between the dash and steering wheel.
