Drive Train Warranty

Drive Train Warranty: This is the portion of the coverage that begins after the basic warranty expires. The drive train warranty covers most of the parts that make the vehicle move, including the engine, transmission, drive axles and driveshaft. Like the basic warranty, "consumable" parts such as hoses and belts are not covered. However, most of the internal parts of the engine, such as the pistons and bearings, which are also subject to wear and tear, are covered by the drive train warranty.>>>

Does the drive train warranty cover ingintion coils if your total miles is under 60K
Drivetrain: 5 yr. / 60,000 mi.

I would imagine this would be covered considering its part of the car and if plugs or other parts like o2 sensor go bad??

Pls let me know from your experiences...

I believe your thinking of the powertrain warranty, which goes for 5 years, or 60k miles, and continues after the 3 year, 36k mile warranty. The powertrain warranty pretty much only covers the transmission and possibly the axles, if they don't try to pass those off as normal wear and tear. Your coils would not be covered. Now, if you purchased an extended warranty, you might be covered still, but you would have to look into your individual warranty details to be sure.
