I pried the clock/dash vent assembly out when I went to change my head unit and I broke one of the little clips that attatches it to the A/C control unit. Now it sticks out and looks goofy. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

I did the same thing, pissed me the hell off, im going to JB weld a peice of something back onto that same spot so I can get it to align with the hole again.

 

I beat mine down onto the broken clips, and stuck some of the black goo that stereo shops use to solve similar issues.. looks alright, has a slight gap but its straight/

 

Thanks for the replies. I'll try some adhesive of some sort, especially now that I've found out how much a new one costs: $198!!

 

Or $20 at a junkyard.

even $20 sounds liek alot, but i guess it all about economics here, suply and demand
