Tein S. Tech Springs

Could you run Tien S. Tech Springs on stock shocks and struts and still have a smooth ride?

I think the most they'll handle is around 1.0" drop.

of course you could put them on the stock struts.....and cruise around witht hem....but the strut as everyone said will blow, and it will neverbe as good of a ride.

I'm running s-techs and stock struts right now due to the previous owner of my car. The ride is very stiff and it doesn't feel like there is any suspention underneath you. I'm short on cash right now but as soon as I can collect enough I will be throwing some better struts on for sure! You may as well spend the money on struts now because if you try to run that setup you will be buying struts soon enough

Just the fact that you ask about ride eliminates the S-Techs. You will never get a decent ride with them, they are too low and give up too much travel. Oddly I liked them on the auto-x course with race tires, even though they gain + camber on the front under compression. (once again too low.)

Luke, if you want to go that low, get coilovers. I never listened to people that said that before, but now i realize that they were right the whole time.
