hey guys got to do the plugs in the max and was wondering what kind of plug do you use? some have said in the past go with a copper others the plat. please include the part # of the plug when responding....... and why that plug

NGK Platinums......thats what the motor was deisgned to run with

 

NGK Platinum plugs - PFR5G-11

 

NGK copper. or plats

 

I use 6 of them just because

 

NGK platinums... because I do.

 

I swapped in a Powerstroke diesel.

 

I don't use spark plugs, I have coil packs.

 

Then your car doesn't run

What I meant to say was that I don't use spark plugs, but I have the NGK laser platinum flux capacitor mod in my coil packs - so I don't need plugs... if you guys would read the bloody stickies you'd know what I was talking about

Its funny how people will read one thread and start another thread about the same topic. Anyway I use Boche platinum 4's and it runs just as good as a max using NGK's.

 

My buddy just picked up a 2001 BMW M5 for 30 grand (60k on it).. just some food for thought ... I took it for a spin and all I can say is

How long have you been running Bosch plugs??

I have seen many threads on here about major sputtering problems and things of that nature because of them. Not sure about P+4's though...

 

It's also funny how threads get so off topic, and people just feed the fire (guess this reply was no help, huh?)

 

i use denso Iridium's.....i use them cause they were free.....

 

I've had them in for about 30,000 miles now and no performance problems at all.
