i am hearing a humming noise on deceleration. I dont hear it at all driving but when i slow down its a loud wawa sound that sound like it is coming from the drivers front side. I had bad tire rod ends that i just had replaced and i just had the right axle replaced and i was told the car is in perfect condition all aound including suspension. Brakes were done last summer. Pleanty of meet on the pads and the rotors are nice and smooth all aound. Like i said i do not hear it while driving so that makes me rule out bearings. Any ideas? Thanks. Also could it be possible that it is the tires. The hum gets louder as i get slower!

 

when was the last time you had an alignment and what tires are you running?

 

i had an alignment done on saturday and i have yamaha 18" tires

 

tires are new from the summer

 

So an alignment is out the question, unless the alignment caused it- did you hear this noise before the alignment?

 

Check your CV boots.... mine is torn the hell up and its causing a sound at random times just because its flapping around down there.
