cant get the FARKIN grille off! wtf am i missing?!

alright, im trying to get the headlights off so i can ae them. first off, i cant get the screws behind the corner lights loose but for one, the rest are stuck like mad!

how do i get the grille off? i searched, read, read my haynes, i know WHAT im meant to do, i just dont know HOW!

it looks like theres just two clippy things, where my haynes has B circled. it looks like a square screw when i look in through the front, but the grill comes up too high for me to get a screwdriver in there at a decent angle. i jammed one in there, through the front, and damn near broke a corner off the square.

after i get those two off, then what? i dont see the two screw/clips that haynes says to remove first, i dont see anything under the nissan emblem. all i see are the B points.

what am i missing?!

I can pop mine off in like 10 seconds. Take a flathead and just stick it on the top of the clip thingy. Push it downwards. After you get the top clips just wiggle it out.

the square part has a slot in it for a flat head. you only need to turn it a little. if you cant get in there go from behind and squeez the back part of the clip with pliers. i freaking hate these things so i never reinstalled them. i just used zip ties.
