!?Starting Trouble!? HELP!

I, sometimes have trouble starting my car. It doesnt matter whether its cold or hot. Cold starts are usually worse. When i turn the key, it cranks about 5 times and then starts. Sometimes it will start and then shut off if i dont hit the gas once and accelerate on start up. When i try to auto start it with my key, it will just crank a few times and then not turn on. Today, when i tried to start the car in the cold, it actually made a grinding noise as i turned the key. It made the niose that a car would make if you accidently turn the key when a car is already on, except this time it was OFF. I dont know what they heck is going on. Please give me some advice/suggestions. I tried putting "DryGas" to avoid gas line freezing and i also had a tuneup this summer. I also, changed my fuel filter this summer. HELP!!!!
