squeaking noise on the tein basics?

squeaking noise on the tein basics?

I have been experiencing squeaking noises my my tein basics. not sure what it is. When i go over a little bump or whenever the car goes up and down from uneven roads, i hear it squeaking. anyone experiencing this problem? or maybe i installed it wrong?

i have heard you could put wire lomes around the springs to make the squeaking go away but dont quote me on that

yeah...thats probably it...

also when the spring isnt in the correct position it will squeak like that.

i have the same problem on the drive side of my Max just replace my struts.........i also get some noise form rear.....but it seems like to be from Bumper instead of the shocks..........trys to give push to them stocks and struts.....

It could be the mating surfaces of the top mounts as well.

i believe that gets rid of thumping noises..

it might be ur rear mount bushing.. have friend on radom overweight person put weight on the back of ur car and move it up and down... then stick ur ear near the wheel in teh back... and try to see... well hear.. if u hear any squeek.. if you do then rear bushings..

... well theres a groove on teh strut.. the spring has to sit in their. i mean u can see if fairly easy last time i changed that stuff out..

When I bought new shocks all around it did that for about a month and then it stopped, i think they broke in, rides much nicer now that I have had them a couple months. If nothing looks out of place,leave it for a little while and see if it stops.
