Atten Daniel B, Suspension Problems that would cause my tires to wear really bad
Any ideas, I just got my set of Kumhos and the fronts have worn really bad, whereas the backs are like new. The other set of tires I had on my car did the same thing. Thanks in advace for your help

Um, the fronts generally wear quicker than the rears. If you rotate your tires every 10k miles, you will get more life out of your tires. If you are getting uneven wear on one tire (i.e. more wear on one side, etc..) then you need an alignment or you are not inflating your tires properly. If you drive aggressively, you will wear out the edges of the tread very quickly.

hmmm, when the lower ball joints went it was uneven wear on the tires, this might not be what it is but if you jack the car up you can tell, see if the wheel has any play in in from top to bottom. push the top in and out and see if there is play. that's the first sign.

Well to make things a little clearer, the car is aligned perfectly, got it done when I put the new kumhos on. i do my fair share of hard cornering, but the tires are worn evenly, the fronts have maybe 2000-3000 miles on them and they are worn to half of what the rears are. So what would a lower ball joint going bad sound like?

If they are worn like that, there isn't anything wrong. Sounds like hard driving on low treadwear tires to me. Go get them rotated. They are only gonna last 15k - at most.

I noticed with my Pirelli 7000 supersports, with their really high tread wear rating of 320 AA, the fronts still wore out way faster than the rears. It was as if the rears weren't doing anything at all, just rolling!!
You gotta rotate your tires regularly, like every 5 K miles, especially if you have V or Z rated tires that are unidirectional, so your tire rotation can only be front to back, back to front etc, no criss crossing.
