Car with bent rear axle??

Got offered a car for really cheap that went over a curb, wheels were already replaced... I assume the axles will need to be replaced.. I have a spare set of struts and springs so they will be replaced,, brakes appear to be in good shape.. I know front cv axles are a relatively inexpensive replacement.. Is there anything else that should be seen as a potential damage to this car??
And my main question - How much would a rear axle be?? I was thinking that this may be too large of a project to be worthwhile?? Assuming parts are cheap.. any opinions on this would be great!! price-_- $500 97 Maxima 90k miles
Other option is buy it and part it out, airbags, trans, etc.. and rebuild my other car with it.

I'd buy it and part it out.

Do you know whether the rear axle is even bent? Are you saying the entire tube axle from side to side, or just the stub axle? The stub axles are a little over $100 each from the dealer with bearings and lugs. The entire axles are easy to find at salvage yards.

If its just the hub, you can fix that relatively cheap and have a 2nd car.

I myself, wouldnt want two maximas. I would part it out, and use that extra money for my max, and other things/bills.

Alright thanks for the replies.. I actually have two maximas and could use the extra parts seeing that they are both over 100k now.. guess I can try to fix it though and maybe make some money either way.. thanks again
I will have to check out the car more indepth but will post if I am parting..

I see where your comming from MaxMateo5. Getting the car up fast isnt that much of an important factor to me. If I find a decent one, for a good price that is all steel, I would get it. The jack will stay in the garage and wont be used too often (especially in these cold months).

Plus it would help build muscle

Aiming to get one the day after christmas. Now I gotta return this dinky one I purcahsed for $17 from advanced auto parts.
