1st Oil Change on Rebuild

I just installed a new crank in my SE. I had the #2 bearing spin on me. What do you think a good break in time will be for the first oil change. I was thinking around 500mi.

I had a rebuild completed in May of this year and was told to change the oil at 500mi also... that seems to be the consensus.

I had the rod resized. I sent it to the machine shop that does all the work for my dealer, they tried to save the crank too but the journal was too out of round to fix.
