Flip Flop Trunk Conversion

Hi guys, im thinkin of getting one of these off eBay... Its only like 20 bucks plus if it doesn't look that great its only 20 bucks... Is it worth it? ( the time and effort plus money ). I dont know if it is good off eBay or what not but usually eBay stuff is junk, but this isn't really performance wise, and you'll only have your trunk open like once a day. Any comments?

Personally I don't really like the whole flip flop trunk thing, but to each his own.

Believe it or not, level of quality is relevant even in such a kit. What if something doesn't fit right? What if something breaks? If it doesn't work quite right? Yeah for $20 you're not putting much at stake, but that doesn't mean that a poor quality product won't annoy you in the end, no matter how insignificant the function.

That said, there could be no harm done in getting it and trying it out, but make sure you can "undo" the mod if you need to, and don't leave it in if fitment is poor.

And for god's sakes, don't try to dump it on some other poor bastard on the org if it doesn't work. Just leave the guy negative feedback ("crappy quality"), sell it to some guy with a triple decker spoiler on his Civic for a small profit and call it a day.

don't get it, it's a POS. You can buy the parts yourself and make a better kit.
