I had no problem with taking off the 02's when i installed my y-pipe, but the wire was a little bit hard to work with. just make sure to put lots of wd-40 on it to loosen it.

i used an 02 sensor socket.

werd up, the 02 wrench is hard to use on our cars, i just use a open end wrench. if you dont know the size when your buying them size up a wrench while your there.

The O2 sensor should be tightened to 30 - 40 lb-ft. Isn't it a 19 mm wrench. I like using the metric system.

Thank you. I still dont understand the usefulness of 7/6th or 15/16th, verus 14mm, 15mm. I just dont get it...

Metric just logically makes sense. . . but dont let me ramble on.

well it makes sense to me too mm = more accuracy than 1/16th of an inch....but thats just what i used because it fit perfectly for the o2 sensors i had...i figured they would be metric too

That's why the adjustable wrench comes in handy sometimes when you're too lazy to figure it out.

Here are the two that I have. The crow's foot type is the best and easiest to use. It was around $10.

Don't forget to use anti-sieze on the threads when you put it back on.

Got it locally at a Canadian Tire store. Here is one on Ebay starting at $5.

your local auto store (kragen, autozone) should have them. You can borrow it from them for free.

I have the standard O2 sensor which is the first socket in the picture, but the second one is good for those hard to reach spaces. But, I guess also the adjustable pipe wrench will work. I allways find them usefull for stripped nuts.
