Anyone know anything about headlights?
Anyone know anything about headlights?
here is my problem: i recently had a headlight go out, so i went to autozone and bought some new bulbs. The bulb that was out was on the driver's side. I changed both of the bulbs and then checked to see if they worked. But for some reason, the drivers side still did not work. So i thought i just bought a bad bulb so i switched them up. Now that they are on the opposite sides, the passenger side still works, but the driver's side does not work still.
What the hell happened to the driver's side headlight????
Thanks in advance

I'm not exactly sure but I believe they are labeled HEAD L and HEAD R they might be either in the engine bay fuse box (next to the battery) or in the cabin fuse box (lower left hand area of the dashboard).

very common problem. inspect your wire harness and see if it looks a little (or a lot) melted.
i have a plug and play upgraded harness and i went to align my driver's side to make it a little lower. I go in and reach for the aligning screw and i moved the harness and my headlights go outs on the driver side. I thought it was maybe the harness design or something. I go to the passanger side wiggle it and stuff and nothing. I go back to the driver side and i touch it softly and it turns off. I dont know why it doesnt turn off while i'm driving tho. I figure the harness on the driver side is messed up. Since i have a plug and play unit with my upgraded harness i didn't have to splice anything. But i personally think, my orignal socket and wiring to the socket is screwed up. Should i just get a harness to splice into the driver side only?

The fuses are labeled h lamp RH and h lamp LH in the engine bay. Try it out yourself.
