just looked on ebay and saw these headers from VQpower

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissa...spagenameZWDVW http://www.vqpower.com/v2/modules.ph...article&sid=88
VQpower.com is a trusted source , right?
it says on the vqpower link that someone from maxima.org posted their review, but i dont remember seeing it.
i hope this isnt a repost but i couldn't help but see that in the ebay ad it says that there is 18-20 horsepower added from the headers alone. they have dyno's and i can see 2 but all the other links are broken.
just curious of what anyone has to sya about this. i know last time the subject of headers was brought up everybody said they were worthless unless you had the ypipe and header as one piece.
i thought it was a gimmick until i saw it was a VQpower.com thing...
so.....whats the deal with headers.
also, anyone know exactly how hard they are to install?

No one makes such a thing

Install is a

That's about the gains you can see from an intake and y-pipe will, so I wouldn't want to go throught the pain of installation for 2-3 more whp. Again, ...

pretty sure i saw one, but it doesnt matter because i dont need/want one anyway.
and i just thought that vqpower weren't bs'ers and then i saw that so i figured, why would they lie?
20 horspower compared to the 2-3 horspower your saying it makes is quite a difference.

I stated 2-3 over a y-pipe..

Are you saying 20 over a y-pipe?

i just noticed , if you add their ricer math "The headers alone provide 18-20 horse power The Y pipe provides 13-16 horse power All together you can increase your maxima's stock engine, 190 hp close to 220 -225 hp"
its saying at least 31 horsepower. but in the dyno's the gain was more liek 18. 171 to 189.
the other dyno links didnt work.

sick of web bs and false information.

Yeah, sorry I didn't mean to insult you.
Maybe I'm retarded and need help reading, just the way they had the link made me assume vqpower was selling it or something of that sort.
Otherwise I wouldn't have wasted time asking "do these really give 20 horsepower?!" like a doofus
I just remember mardi selling his headers for 100 and I wanted to find another deal, ran across that.
And that's the story of my life

well, it's stone racing selling those headers on ebay, that's all. it's because vqpower did have a publication about their headers, and stone racing is just directing customers to vqpower.com to read up on it's specs and gains.

about those headers, the initial phase of the headers released were having problems, then they worked with customers and fixed the problems. well, the dyno they pulled is a little misleading. everyone who read enough on this org will know that after market y-pipe alone will gain you about 15-18 hp's compared to stock numbers, the headers with the dedicated y-pipe will gain up to 17-21 hp's FROM STOCK NUMBERS. It's a 3 hp gain over our typical after market y-pipes. So It's about 2-3 times the money you would pay over a y-pipe, and your advantage is only 3 hp's over the after market y-pipes. Some how, by reading their advertisement, I come to think that their headers will have 20 hp more gains than ypipes.

well, I don't have their headers, so I cannot put down reviews for it. But based on what I know so far, their headers aren't that good, along with some fitment issues that a few guys have had.
