just bought my 99se auto tonight. on the drive home when slowing down to say stop at a traffic light it seems like the downshift to first gear gives you a jolt right before it stops. is that normal ? its not horrendous but just enough to notice

 

Could be in need of a flush or could be selenoid on its way out.

 

I get that sometimes too, also have a slight jolt in the 1-2 upshift. Others on this board have the same problem, I changed my fluid, didn't help. I have yet to check the resitance on the drop resistor, I've been told that a bad resistor can cause these jerky shifts.
