Watching "Chop, Cut, Rebuild" on the Speed Channel now, and I just saw the host of the show riding in I guess his Max. They actually showed a bit of detail while he was driving to the shop. I thought he was about to hook it up or something. Ended up not, but surprisingly much TV time was given to his ride. Clear corners, tint, 6-speed, TE wheels, looked dropped, and shiny. Just thought it was interesting enough to post.

 

Not surprised. The max is a great car. Especially the 6 speeds

 

There are a couple of Max's on TV now; there was a black 5th gen on Sports Revolution on Speed channel also. I'm not sure how many of you guys get DIY channel, but there is a show called "Tricked Out" and they showed a black modded 4th gen.

 

anyone see the wrecked black max on TV? it was on the news..

 

i didnt see it on the news, but it was in the Star Ledger. the car was trashed i know the max holds up really well in an accident, but that was a head-on with another car and i think a tree, nothing would stand up to that. It was sad, hearing about the 3 girls my age killed in the crash too.

 

I didn't see it, when did this happen? That's horrible.

 

I think it has been less than a month. I heard of it also, the max was totaled.

 

I saw that yesterday. It was in the slalom, one of the wheels got airbourne, lol.

 

Damn. I wish i saw it.

 

and no one's going to bring up maxima from the rice and the furious?

 

yeah the wreck was pertty scary, the whole top of the car was just compeletly wrecked, i think the whole car was just torn apart, the only thing that i could tell was the tail lights, if it wasnt for the tailights, i couldnt have tell...dude everyone died in that car except the driver... its sad... and there were like 20 somehting, it happend in bergen.

 

Since it came out in theaters.
