Gifts For The Max!!!

MERRY BELATED CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! Just wanted to start a thread for everyone to post what gifts or goodies Santa brought them for their "Toy Max's"... Unfortunately, Santa didn't leave anything for my MAX, but I was still curious to know what other lucky people may have gotten... So let's see who got what!!!

My wife bought me one of those Sirius Replay portable sat radios, just have to figure out the best way to incorporate it into the Max. Ideas are welcome from all.

I got Sirius as well. Although my Max is prewired for Sat radio, I'm not going to "hardwire" it, as my lease will end in 15 months. So, I ran the antenna through the trunk then along the center console. No visible wires.

If you don't mine me asking, what are the exact items purchased for the carputer and where did you find them?

HEHE! I will post all the particulars once I recieve everything and install it. I want to make sure it is all going to work before recommending anything. My price so far on what I bought is around 800$ USD. It will be a couple of weeks before it's done. I need to mod a few interior pieces before Its up and running.

I got the RSB and Springs from Progress.

I had them installed yesterday and MAN, what a difference!!! I have an SL so the difference was HUGE! Bumps hardly feel any harder, and you can definetely feel a difference going over them on the freeway, the car tends to stay on the road where it used to feel like you would bounce a couple times before the car would stabilize.

OH, did I forget to mention the cornering??? All I can say is WOW!!! I am no car guy, but I know these two mods make a huge difference you can feel!!!

Merry Xmas!!!

hey everyone
new member to the forum as i've just purchased an 06 maxima
just wanted to send out a thread to say hi to my other fellow max owners out there and to ask them a few questions/get their opinion (after all, look at your great taste in cars)

i had a general question about buying new wheels for the maxima. If anyone out there that has 20" wheels, did you have to alter the suspension of the car? when you changed them, was there a notable change in performance from the car after you did?

the other general faq i want to ask is about car washing? about how long do you think before i can take the car to a car wash? some people tell me i shouldn't take it for at least a year. i really wouldn't like to wait that long as my max is already looking a little dirty from the outside. any suggestions what i can do?
