I seen more than a few Maximas with these rims. Why is it? Is it a Maxima thing? They do look nice. I would get it if they are cheaper. I bet they would look good on my car.

www.tires.com they have them for $170-$180 depending on the wheel size. thats cheap enuff for me. compared to the 500 dollar 17 stockers..

Nah, I don't think it's necessarily a Max thing. Actually, there are a lot of .Org members whose tastes in wheels are cost much more $$$ and would never sport a set of Tantrums. I personally like them because they give a clean and simple look, are moderately priced, are lighter than the stock 17's, and fit nicely on a Max. I've seen a bunch more wheels on the board though that look just as nice if not much nicer than my Tantrums.

It's not just a Maxima thing... There are many people with Imports that have them too (ex. Civic SI's). I have a question to those that have Konig Tantrums. Is it true that these rims can bend easily? I had a set of 19" Tantrums and I warped all 4 wheels in a week while I was at the beach. I thought it was just because I had 19" wheels but some people have been telling me that Tantrums warp easier then other rims.

give me ur wheels now. or else. hey i realized something.. our stockers look like 18s, and when u put 17s on with 45s, they look like our 50s.. maybe its the lip on our stockers that make it look like its 18s. kinda nice if u ask me. too heavy tho.

So far I've had no problems. I think the nature of the material used in the making of alloy rims are softer than our stockers so the warping shouldn't be exclusively a Tantrum issue. Beach terrains are pretty rough as well...that could've contributed to the bending.

Wow, you had 19's huh...Nice.

How much do the Tantrum wheels weigh anyway? How does it compare to the stock '96 SE wheels as far as weight? The '96 SE wheels are pretty light. My old 18" ADR wheels were really heavy. I need to first sell these old rims first before I can think of getting new rims. If I do get the Tantrums, I might just go with 17s to keep the weight down.

yea, the stock 17" look like 18"

if i only got the GLE w/ the 17", i wouldnt have had to buy aftermarket wheels =\

my 17" wheels have a medium lip, and it really makes my wheels look like 16". but when its moving, it looks kewl

i think the maxima and audi s4's have the nicest stock wheels
