Would you like to explain what "tight in or out" means?

Two scenarios...

1) Righty tighty, lefty loosey.

or

2) Tighten out to remove nuts and tighten in after you put the FSTB on.

losse them out.....like if you are in the front of a car
you see them one to the left and one to the right.

The STB is not adjustable, so I don't understand how you're adjusting them in and out. Just make sure you torque the brace correctly.

I don't think it makes a difference which way you tighten it (in order words which way you tighten the bar end bolts to lessen the horizontal play between the bar and the end plates). Keep in mind the bar's function is to keep the distance between the top of the strut towers constant - so as long as you've got it moderately tightened either way, and reduce/eliminate the play, it'll work fine. I think I've got mine tightened inwards and it's it works just fine!

Stillen: One solid chunk o'metal. Looks nice.
Courtesy: Hollow, length adjustable via turning, looks OEM.

If you order the right FSTB, no cutting is required.
