Different Suspensions?
Different Suspensions?
I have a 04 SE that I really love but I would like to get a smoother ride out of it. The car seems to sqweak and have more bumps to it then it did when it was new and I have found myself wishing that I would of purchased the SL instead and just dropped 18 rims on it. I do not want to move down from the 18 inch rims but was wondering if this is even possible and if anyone has replaced their SE's suspension and how much of a cost this may be?
Thanks
Thanks
If all you want to do is remove a little bit of the harshness, you may want to research new tires. Our Goodyear RSAs fall into the "high performance" category. If you move down the tire-firmness scale to "grand touring" or even "standard touring" tires, that may do the trick for you. (I believe the Bridgestone Turanza is a standard touring tire that comes OEM on the Acura TL, Altima 3.5, Toyota Solara.) If you happen to be ready for new tires, which may also be the cause of a harder feel, this can be viewewd as a no-cost solution. Check out the tirerack.com. for cost and tire reviews. Hope this helps.
