hi all,

equipments:
factory alarm, Delta two way FM alarm/remote start.

recently, my car has weired problem with the battery/alarm/door lock problems:

I had problem locking the door using the Delta alarm.
One day, I didn't close the window which activates the alarm to go off the whole day. then the battery went dead, I had to jump my car.
two days later, I couldn't lock my car: I could still use the Delta function keys to activate and deactivate the Delta alarm. but the door isn't lock, I mean the door lock is still in open position.

I took it to a auto shop which installed my alarm.

they claimed that my factory alarm went dead. but they didn't fix my car for a whole week!

so I took my car back, I am thinking to fix it myself, what do you think? I have a garage and a spare car, i don't mind spend another week on it.

anyone can give me some advice?

anyone in NYC would give me a hand?

thanks in advanced here.

this is 91 SE

anyone can tell me the color code or anything I can use to fix it myself. the installer show me the factory alarm thing is like mouse size black plastic part covering the electrical circuit. The back of it shows all the ironing and circuit and has some sockets in the front.

he said the thing cost around $40 from the dealer.
