Does it hurt the first time?
heheheh

Do i need to regulate the fuel with an aftermarket fuel regulator?

What precautions are needed. Example. is an oil cooler necessary?

Currently i have oem cluth. stage 2 is pretty much necessary, i'm thinking, but what about stage 3? (just tryin to keep things interesting)

what is the maximum boost that is possibly with a pulley of
3.48?
3.33?
3.25?

which gauges are needed to monitor?
Boost? Fuel Press? Oil press?

(just 2 let u know,.. i know most of the answers. just wanted to make sure those newbies with deep pockets and with SCs will know too. my "helping post" of the day.heh)

thanks,
Cheston

With Supercharger...the key is the installation. Make sure you get someone good to install the kit. Pay special attention to fuel lines. One kinked line will cause you the motor. Don't ever run your gas tank near empty too.

Ewww... plastic? What's up with that? They are already poking an eye out with the kit, why not use aluminum or something?

Not to dump on you but I nearly forgot you mentioned that the V2 was unreliable. Just wondering what changed your mind.

Re: Re: cheston

it is somewhat unreliable, the first batch of v2 that came came from stillen/vortech had MAJOR problems due to the idle pulley melting due to high boost. the one that i'm getting has been somewhat changed from the orginal design, and i know what i need to do to get the thing in operational/race ready... first thing is first" i'll be swapping the plastic pulley out to aluminum pulley when i get it. and stage 2 ACT will go in too...

also. the price was right, and u know me. i never buy full price on ANYTHING... the cost of the SC was nearly $1000.00 off of the retail price with the stuff im getting, and i wanted a new car. i've come like 180 degrees since my accident back in Feb. so. this will keep things interesting.
besides. if i didn't get it, how would i get to hear that sweet BOV?

as reply to nismolee:
i said the full price (over $4k when done) was not worth the hassle. yes. i still think its a large chunk of money to spend, but when u've gotten to the point where i am. only so little left to do to the car. my options are limited. and yea. as i said to Vandanno, my car is getting boring NA, so. time to join the boosted club, and finally be one of the elite. (or to be like Skimax. hehe. )
