These guys flag me down in town tonight and tell me that I am their idol and that I have the fastest car in town, because I can beat one of thier friend's integra gsr (who told me he was getting type r heads to give him 240 hp???). Anyway they get me to race this guy that supposedly has a stock turbo talon that I have seen several times, so I did. Well, he had 20 lbs. of boost on a built motor, and his blowoff valve sounded like an airplane taking off. He beats me by like 10 car lengths, then I get him to pull over to talk. He said he runs low 12's. You can't ever tell these days who has what. I raced a 95 mustang GT earlier that had the loudest exhaust ever, and I beat him. Racing these days is like gambling, you never can tell whats going to happen. I am going to have to get a supercharger. Sorry for the pointless story.

 

they pulled a little con job on ya. you should have known something was up when they said you were their idol.... no self respecting car guy would admit to that freely....

let alone a talon. those 4wd turbos are beats if its got any mods..

Hate to say it but if he is running 12's then even with the supercharger you will still get beat.. It wont be by 10 cars but it will still be ugly...

 

I know exactly what you mean, I raced this ugly azz civic like 94 or something, lots of stickers, red with yellow spoiler and ground effects, I had 3 people in my car which most of you know weighs the max down alot, well I take off knowing I will smoke this guy and I kept up with him pretty well considering I started behind him but he did beat me. A week later while I was getting my NISMO logo done I come to find out he had a supercharger, I thought to myself, that is pretty week for a supercharged civic, if I had my y-pipe on and didn't have those guys in the car I would have beat him
