Left a cheap disposable butane lighter in my Max
yesterday when I parked at work after lunch.
Nice sunny day, no shade in the lot.
I come back out and there are little pieces of red plastic scattered around.
The damn thing had exploded!
Glad I wasn't driving when it happened - woulda wet myself.
Good thing it didn't happen when I was smoking...
BOOM!
NE1 know where I can get the sun-shade that's silvered fabric
streched on a collapsible spring-metal "frame"?

Yeah, that happened to me last summer. I left a lighter in the little tray above the ash tray. I had blue plastic pieces throughout the car, even on the rear window shelf! Another reason that I'm glad I quit smoking.
I got the 2-piece silver (medium size, I think) windshield shade from Wal-Mart. Folds up to the size of a dinner plate.
