quiet rear section

im looking for a quiet exhaust. im just replacing the rear section because the muffler is rusted and falling off. i thought if i was going to replace it i might as well get a performance one. i read about the HKS rear section being quiet but i wasnt sure and wanted to know other people's opinions. i want the exhaust to be quiet but i want to hear it at higher RPMs. btw i am totally stock. thanks for any help

If you aren't into modding and just need a replacement muffler, I recommend you pick up a stock muffler from the 4th Gen classifieds for about 50 bucks and have a shop bolt it on for 10-20 bucks (or do it yourself).

Why spend 200 bucks (or more) on a cat-back - that will never be as quiet as your stock setup... for reviews on cat-backs:

Look under the performance category.

i looked at maxmods and saw that HKS is known to be quieter. i want to hear it at higher RPMs, but not for it to be rice or anything. thats why i didnt want to go stock again. maybe i might go stock in the end. thanks for the reply though
