Fender dent

Someone made a clean indent on my fender above my driver side wheel. I feel like I could just push it back out, but don't know the best way. Should I buy one of those repair kits/suction cups from pepboys, or take off the fender itself and do it with a hammer, etc? Anyone have experience with this?

dont waste your money on a ding king unless the "dent" is like a bubble pushed into the metal with no hard lines. if not then you might be able to go from behind with a hard rubber mallet and use that to push the dent out. if you think it will "pop out" and you want to use the rubber mallet dont hammer it put the mallet in your hand you apply pressure from the rear of the fender

I would do this but I think it can be upwards of 100$, and I need new tires as it is.

i have a dent in the same exact spot and it annoys the hell out of me the paint isnt chipped and you can only see it from a certain angle but evertime i look at it it stands my hair up but like you said it looks like if you could get behind it you could push it right out thats why i dont want to spend a couple hundred to have some one else do it...is removing the fender difficult??

"popping" out a dent isnt as simple as it sounds. i would prefer a dented panel over a halfass repaired one anyday. buy tires and when you could afford it have it done right. pdr guy 100-150. body guy, 250-500. you messing it up(when it could have been done with pdr) and having to have a body guy do it, priceless

I guess I'm leaning towards paintless dent removal then. Can anyone recommend a place near princeton?

I wonder though if it would be cheap to buy a used fender?

If it is not that big, half dollar size or smaller, get the Ding King dent removal system, works good on small dings around your car. I got mine at a store called "Benny's" in Mass. for 19.99, well worth it, took out hundreds of dollars worth of little dings, well would have been hundreds in I paid someone. Its made by the oxi-clean guy, the one they have a commerical for, with all the idiots opening there doors into concrete posts and such.
