quiet exhaust tip suggestion?

hey guys, I got a magnaflow 3.5 inch tip put on yesterday & it made my car a lot louder/raspier. I had a really ugly 4" baffled tip before but it sounded so much better but it looked sooo bad. I didn't know the noise will be this different, it went from nice muffled with minimum noise to rapsy honda civic like =/

The shop took my baffled tip, so now I guess I'm going to look for another tip any suggestion on quiet almost stock like tips?

http://matrix.senecac.on.ca/~dwkwok/exhaust2.avi <- sounds like a civic inside & outside the car

before

http://matrix.senecac.on.ca/~dwkwok/exhaust1.avi <-- you can hardly hear this in the car & there is only a small hint of deep noise inside the car.

the difference is a lot more apparent in person, my camera's mic sucks

forgot to say I have a y-pipe & resonated bpipe already.

the old tip was hanging too far out & too low lol the new one is even with the bumper. I didn't know tips make such a huge difference!

Is it just a tip or the whole muffler?

Oh, I have a tip on my stock muffler too, but I just bolted it onto the stock tip, no noise at all.

Did the shop take the muffler off to weld it? Maybe they didnt tighten the muffler enough and its leaking and making you think its the tip thats louder........or something

I'm also looking for another tip. I like how my car sounds without the tip but it looks so funny and it's a little too loud. I have a 3" tip. Does bigger mean quieter?
