need tranny help

sometimes when I come to a complete stop and then go to take off again my tranny seems like it slams into first like it didn't downshift all the way.today at a light I knew it was going to do it so I put it in first and took off and it still did it. is something seriously wrong with my tranny???is there anyway that it can be something wrong with the computer that isnt talling it to downshift right??

Check fluid.

Check ECU codes for possible TCM code.

How is its behavior under WOT?

the fluid was a little low so I added one bottle yesterday and was fine but I havent checked it again to see if its low.what is the TCM code.at wide open throttle it shifts at redline and is hesitant to shift sort of like I was driving manual and shifting normal.(not power shifting)

What's the condition of the fluid?

In your opinion, does hesitant = slipping?

im not sure what slipping actually means but it feels like the car looses all power than gets back into gear.
