hey,
is it possible to put 02/03 maxima bubls (which are hids) into 00/01 maxima headlight? I know that the size of the bulb is different, but will any easy modifications make it fit.... I've seen couple people do it before, but I wanna hear from you guys. Has anyone done that on here? It should be easy, thats what i think.....
pls let me know if you have done it, and post some pictures

Can the bulbs fit? Yes. Will it be useful? No. The housings for the 2k-2k1's are made for halogen bulbs. If HID's are installed, the light output will glare all over the place. You can, though, get HID's retrofitted for 9004 bulb housings. Some people on here have taken that route.

 

how much will that be? or do i do it my self? what do i need to do that?

you could go w/ the halo projectors... i think they look great on the younger 5th gens. Not as good of output as the 5.5 gens but it's got a great look to it.

but i just want to install my HIDs on 00/01 headlights, and i was wondering if anyone tried it b4, and was it hard...I've talked to some ppl, and they said that i need a piece of plastic, make whole big enough for bulb to go throug, secure it with something lol, and screw the plastic to the rear of the headlight, they've even sent me some pics too, and it looked pretty good, i liked it, with the lights on especially.....
so iam prbly going to try that very soon....
i just want some more info from you guys,
iam sure you guys know something about this, like everything else on cars lol
