First Tranny Leak, now Clutch worn out.

Guys, for nine months, starting in April 05, I was having a tranny leak right where the tranny bolts to the motor. Apparently, a seal inside had started leaking. Now after they have repaired it on their 3rd attempt, my clutch has started slipping. They tell me it definately can't be from the tranny leak because the clutch and plate are sealed seperately from the rest of the engine. I spoke to a qualified mechanic, and he said that it is not sealed, and the reason why the oil is sealed, is so it won't get near the clutch. Are there any diagrams or information that can at least support my case. I have 52,000 KM's, 30,000 miles on my 03 maxima. Over half is hwy mileage. I really need soem help here. Nissan hasn't made a final decisin yet, yet the dealer doing the work has.

Paul.
