My trunk liner sags and being a firefighter I throw a lot of stuff back there, like my dirty gear. This would be a great tough and good looking replacement liner.

not for me, for one, everything would be sliding around. Two, no telling what it weighs. Three, awful pricey...... four... looks like something for a truck.

just do what most of us do who are unsatisfied with the trunk support, buy plywood or MDF and form it to your trunk and put that in there. It will cost like $15-20 and its pretty much the same thing.

For 10 dollars, I picked up a wood board from Lowes and made my own trunk floor liner.

LOL, very funny..... I thought maybe it was like bland ex or something..

so you built it out of several pieces of wood? like you would build a floor in a home out of?

I think you just use one piece of wood. Just make a cutout of the inside of your trunk and put it in

I just had some extra fibre board laying around, cut it out with the shape of the carpet... and put it in. No more collapsing floor for my sub box!

It comes in two pieces so if you did put something heavy in the middle of them then it will still sag in the middle. Just do what everyone else is saying and cut a piece of plywood to size and cover it with the trunk liner.

There's already enough rattles back there for me without adding more on purpose.

I did the same thing. I also used very small staples to hold the carpet to the wood, so the carpet will not slide around. I put small screws around the 3 sides of my sub box so the box will stay in place during hard cornering/acceleration.

Wood works, I did it in my old 3rd gen. That diamond plated crap is just for show, it would only look good in your trunk with a tool box on top of it.
