Its an easy install and you should be done in less than an hour. The hardest part is getting the silicone couplers around the TB and MAF housing, but with some brute force you'll get it.
The intake should come with instructions, but if it doesn't, there is a copy posted here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/694087/6

other than the silicone couplers that are a PITA to get on, the install is pretty simple

They say to disconnect the battery so your car "re-learns" with the new intake.
The installation is easy, even for somebody with no prior modding experience. Just make sure you do the following:
1. Take your time!
The installation could literally take as little as five to ten minutes once you know what your'e doing, but if you feel like taking two hours, go ahead and take two hours.
2. Be careful with your MAF sensor.
Unplug the wires from the MAF sensor and remove it according to the instructions that come with your intake, and then place it somewhere safe.
3. Heat the silicone couplers with a hair dryer to make them easier to work with during the installation.
These things can be a real pain if they're cold, because they fit VERY snugly, and they don't like to stretch.
4. REMEMBER TO PLUG THE WIRES BACK INTO YOUR MAF SENSOR WHEN THE INSTALLATION IS OVER!
Once you have all the tubes hooked together and secure, it's easy to forget to plug the MAF sensor back in before starting the car. If you do this, the car will act as if the MAF sensor has failed. It will run very roughly and may even die on you. You will get a service engine light, and you won't be able to rev over 2000-2500rpm until you plug the MAF sensor back in. Even then, you will still have a service engine light until it either goes away on its own or until you clear it yourself.

Keep and label all of the nuts, bolts, and other parts from your stock intake, and make sure that you're using the right length bolts for each hole. They're all 10mm if I remember correctly, so you'll only need one size of wrench/socket for the whole job, but they are NOT all the same length. I accidentally used too long of a bolt to connect the bar that stabilizes the intake to my Maxima, and I didn't notice it until the bolt had already bent, then the head of the bolt broke off. I had to bend my intake stabilizer bar to use another nearby hole, since I couldn't get the broken bolt out of the original hole.

The 00-01's will re-learn on their own, but I guess it is quicker if you disconnect the battery. I dont know how true it is, but it takes less than a min to disconnect it so I did anyway.
